Simple and sophisticated high-quality white porcelain candle holder.
They look wonderful in groups as a centerpiece for your special table, or in a special corner of your house.
Entirely crafted by hand in my studio in Italy.
Please note that each piece is one of a kind and the photos represent the general design rather than the exact piece that I'm going to ship. I make very small batches in my studio and pieces come out all different. Each one is unique and special.
TECHNIQUES & MATERIALS
The delicate look and lightweight feel is achieved by slip casting very thin porcelain. They are glazed in transparent and fired twice to 1240°.
The clay I use is a high-quality porcelain and it has high translucency. Everything I use is food safe.
SIZE
Please allow for small differences in sizes and shapes between the items as they are all handmade, each one is unique:
- tall candle holder: diameter 8 cm (3.15”), h. 9 cm (3.35”).
- short candle holder: diameter 7.5 cm (2.9”), h. 6 cm (2.3”).
CARE
Dishwasher safe. A gentle hand wash would be more appropriate.

Process and materials
The delicate look and lightweight feel are achieved by using very
thin slabs of porcelain. Each piece is carefully slab built or slip
casted using porcelain, glazed in transparent inside, sanded smooth
outside and fired twice to 1250°.
Gold is applied and fixed with a third firing in electric kiln...
Care
White porcelain: oven, microwave and dishwasher safe although a gentle hand wash will make your porcelain last longer.
Porcelain with gold luster is unsuitable for microwave and hand wash is recommended...
