Limited edition of white porcelain plates entirely crafted by hand. Eucalyptus leaves handpainted on a 8 pieces plate set born from a collaboration project with graphic designer GinkgoCallgraphy. These simple and elegant dessert plates size, are perfect as a side plate or as a plate to accompany an elegant afternoon tea.

The clean lines of porcelain speak of sensuality, transparency and unicity but also of practicality. Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe although a gentle hand wash would be more appropriate.

Entirely crafted by hand in my studio in Italy.

TECHNIQUES & MATERIALS

The delicate look and lightweight feel is achieved by using very thin slabs of porcelain. Each piece is carefully slab built using porcelain in my studio in Italy, glazed in transparent inside, sanded smooth outside and fired twice to 1255°. Everything I use is food-safe.

The clay I use is a high quality Limoges porcelain and it has high translucency. Its colour after firing tends to a warm white.

WHY CHOOSING PORCELAIN

Porcelain is highly resistant and tends to last much better over the years than standard ceramic. That is because porcelain is denser, more uniform and harder than ceramics. It is fired to higher temperature, giving high strength to the finished product and making it more durable, most crack-resistant, almost impossible to stain, and with no absorption problems therefore completely food safe.

CARE FOR ENVIRONMENT

Clay is a natural and long-lasting material, therefore environmentally friendly. It is part of our tradition and history as many everyday objects were made of clay since ancient times. Since I care about environment, I use recycled packaging when possible and ask you to re-use it.

This item is ready to ship in approx 1-3 working days. 

Every parcel is shipped by courier, can be tracked and signature is requested at delivery so make sure that someone will be available to receive the shipping. After two attempts of delivery your parcel will be sent back to the sender.

I ship worldwide, but if your country is not listed in the shipping countries please ask me to quote shipping expenses for you.

I pack pieces very carefully to make sure they arrive safely. In the unlikely event of the pieces being damaged in transport, please contact me for a full refund or exchange.

I gladly accept returns. Contact me within 7 days of delivery. Return items back within 14 days of delivery. Custom or personalised orders can't be returned or exchanged. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
