CIOTOLE KURINUKI, SET DA 2
Coppia di ciotole in porcellana bianca, con interno in smalto lucido color cioccolato. Realizzate con la tecnica giapponese Kurinuki, che consiste nel ricavare la forma scolpendo un blocco solido di argilla. Ideali per un caffè o una tazza di tè.
Una delle due presenta una piccola crepa sul bordo (visibile in foto) , che non ne compromette l’utilizzo. L’altra è senza difetti.
Realizzate a mano in Italia.

Pair of white porcelain bowls with a glossy chocolate-brown glazed interior. Made using the Japanese Kurinuki technique, which involves carving a vessel from a solid block of clay. Perfect for coffee or tea.
One of the two has a small crack along the rim, visible in the photo, that does not affect its use. The other is flawless.
Handmade in Italy.

Process and materials
The delicate look and lightweight feel are achieved by using very
thin slabs of porcelain. Each piece is carefully slab built or slip
casted using porcelain, glazed in transparent inside, sanded smooth
outside and fired twice to 1250°.
Gold is applied and fixed with a third firing in electric kiln...
Care
White porcelain: oven, microwave and dishwasher safe although a gentle hand wash will make your porcelain last longer.
Porcelain with gold luster is unsuitable for microwave and hand wash is recommended...
