Workshop february-may 2025
Four very simple and fun workshops where, guided by me, you will make porcelain plates and bowls using some easy techniques.
The main purpose is to have fun and have you go with plates and bowls made by yourself that you will use forever. It will also be an opportunity to learn some techniques such as slab work, engobe decoration, graffito, kurinuki.
About the workshops:
All courses are designed for beginners. They will be confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants and have a maximum of 6 participants per session.
Registration is confirmed upon payment of a €60 deposit, which is non-refundable in case of non-attendance. Without this payment, a spot cannot be reserved. If the course is canceled, the deposit will be refunded.
The objects created during the course will be left to dry, then bisque-fired, glazed, and high-fired by me. They will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the course date.
The workshop fee includes both materials and firings. Upon request, finished pieces can be shipped to your address for an additional cost.
All materials used are non-toxic. The pieces created are food-safe and can be used at the table. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe.

Process and materials
The delicate look and lightweight feel are achieved by using very
thin slabs of porcelain. Each piece is carefully slab built or slip
casted using porcelain, glazed in transparent inside, sanded smooth
outside and fired twice to 1260°.
Gold is applied and fixed with a third firing in electric kiln...
Care
White porcelain: oven, microwave and dishwasher safe although a gentle hand wash will make your porcelain last longer.
Porcelain with gold luster is unsuitable for microwave and hand wash is recommended...
Why choosing porcelain?
The clean lines of porcelain speak of sensuality, transparency
and unicity but also of practicality. Oven, microwave and dishwasher
safe although a gentle hand wash will make your porcelain last longer.
Porcelain is highly resistant and tends to last much better over the years than standard ceramic...
Care for the environment
With your purchase you help me support Greenpeace: 1% of the value of every sale will be destined to protect our planet....
