Shipping and Return policy

Shipping fees & free shipping:

Italy: free shipping on orders worth 400 € and more.

AT, DE, BE, LU, DK, NL:  free shipping on orders worth 590 € and more.

ES, FR, UK, PT, IE, SE, EL:  free shipping on orders worth 790 € and more.

US, CA, CH, NO: free shipping on orders worth 1200 € and more.

Please find all shipping fees at checkout. They depend on the size, quantity and value of the items you are purchasing.

I pack pieces very carefully to make sure they arrive safely. If the parcel looks damaged, please report it to the carrier when you receive it and write 'control reserve' with you signature. In the unlikely event of the pieces being damaged in transport, please contact me for a full refund or exchange.

Processing time

The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies. For details, see individual items. I normally ship made-to-order items in approx 4-6 weeks. I ship ready-to-ship items in 1-3 working days. Often small quantities are available in stock even if the item is a made-to-order piece. In case you are in a hurry to receive it, please ask for availability by using the WhatsApp button. 

Kintsugi bowls are always ready to ship in 1-3 working days.

Shipping time

Every parcel is shipped by courier, can be tracked and signature is requested at delivery so make sure that someone will be available to receive the shipping. After two attempts of delivery your parcel will be sent back to me.

Approximate delivery times are as follows:

Italy 1-2 working days

EU Europe 2-7 working days

USA 3-9 working days

I ship worldwide, but if your country is not listed in the shipping countries please ask me to quote shipping expenses for you. 

Customs and import taxes

I ship from Italy.

For customers in the United States, all customs duties and import charges are paid by me. The price you pay at checkout is the final price you will pay. No additional customs fees, import duties, or brokerage charges will be collected upon delivery.

For customers outside the European Union and outside the United States, any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. The amount of these charges, if any, depends on the regulations of the destination country and cannot be estimated in advance.

I am not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures or import inspections.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify me within 14 days of delivery by email at info@dodicisessanta.com.

Once you have informed me of your decision to withdraw from the purchase, you must return the items within 14 days. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Returned items must be carefully repacked using the original packaging materials and according to the packing instructions provided by the seller. As porcelain is a delicate material, it is essential that items are packed securely and with great care to prevent damage during transit.

Items must be returned in their original condition and must arrive intact. Refunds cannot be issued for items that are returned damaged due to inadequate packaging, improper handling, or damage occurring during return shipment.

Once the returned items have been received and inspected, a refund will be issued within 3 business days. Additional processing times may apply depending on the buyer's bank, credit card provider, or payment service.

Please note that I am an independent artist and maker, and shipping costs are a significant part of the cost of delivering handmade ceramic works, especially for international orders. Unlike large retailers, shipping expenses for small independent businesses are often substantial and may, in some cases, be partially incorporated into the item price rather than charged separately at checkout.

For customers outside the European Union, refunds for returned items may be reduced by the original shipping and handling costs incurred by the seller, including shipping costs that were incorporated into the item price and not separately stated at checkout.

For customers residing in the European Union, refunds and returns are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and the Right of Withdrawal described in this policy.

Custom-made or personalised items produced according to the customer's specifications are not eligible for return or withdrawal, unless they arrive damaged.

Item Damaged During Transit

If an item arrives damaged during transit, a replacement item will be provided at no additional cost to the buyer, or a full refund will be issued.

To help me process the claim, if the parcel shows visible signs of damage upon delivery, please report it to the carrier and sign for it with a reservation or damage notice. Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery at info@dodicisessanta.com and provide photographs of both the item and the packaging.

All shipments are insured for their full value. Photographs of the package before opening are an essential part of the damage claim process and may be required by the carrier or insurance provider. Without this documentation, it may not be possible for me to pursue an insurance claim and recover the costs associated with damage incurred during transit.
